A long, memorable passphrase you can actually type. Aligned with current NIST guidance: length defeats hackers faster than weird symbols do. Browser-only; nothing is saved or sent.

Why length, not complexity

When forced to invent complex passwords, people take predictable shortcuts — Summer2026! becomes Autumn2026!. Hackers know this. A short complicated password like C0ff3e! falls in minutes. A long phrase of ordinary words, like coffee-keyboard-sunshine-thinks, is easy to type and would take trillions of years to guess.

Current NIST guidance recommends:

• Stop scheduled rotation; rotate only when an account is known to be compromised.
• Stop forcing symbols and numbers. Allow long phrases, including spaces.

Many older systems haven’t caught up. The legacy mode below mixes in a number and a symbol so the same long phrase still satisfies stricter filters.
